Melissa P.
Vibrant urban life is in Melissa's blood. Growing up in Southwest Detroit. Melisa learned early that a community is only as strong as the people in it. That is why she is dedicated to providing attainable, safe quality housing for families in Metro Detroit. By lifting up neighborhoods with new housing options she believes that we can lift up our communities, families and collective quality of life. Melissa brings a business background focused on strategic thinking to 1701. An astute marketer and analyst she understands what the market needs and can find the right house for the right family. Melissa also moonlights as a real estate agent, if 1701 doesn't have the right home for you.

James C.
Marketer by trade and Urban Planner by training, James knows what people want and what people deserve. Working toward equity has been James' goal throughout his career. His experience working at the City of Detroit and in his corporate roles, he has built programs that bring peoples needs into new projects and developments. Working on the Michigan Central Station development for Ford Motor Company, James brought in diverse thinking and voices to place an equity lens on one of the largest corporate developments in Detroit's history. James brings this mentality to 1701 projects by listening to his potential tenants wants and ensuring they get the best options across the financial spectrum.
